Artist Bio: I'm Out IAM - Inês Almeida Matos, a Lisbon-based street artist and freelance illustrator. Through captivating illustrations, I advocate for equality, joy, and freedom. From imaginative characters to eye-catching visuals, I adapt my style to various projects, blending urban art with a contemporary touch.
Artist Statement: Working as an illustrator I spend most of my time alone which can be pleasant at times and horrifying as well. You Are Not Alone project makes me think of the last one but especially makes me think of the most vulnerable people that really struggle with loneliness, and mental health and that don’t really have many options. Because I believe in the power of community to help one another I decided to join, for myself and for others too. The world really needs to stand united.
